Uflex has had a long lasting interest in responsible business practices. To strengthen its CSR activities and to exhibit its genuine intention towards the welfare of the society, Uflex has forged an association with STAIRS, an NGO that works for underprivileged kids primarily in three sectors; imbibing life skills in these children through the medium of sports, imparting education to them and providing them basic healthcare facilities. STAIRS has been organising cricket championships for these unfortunate children for the past five years. These tournaments are aimed at providing a platform to these children to showcase and hone their skills. Camps are organised for the same and talented children from these camps are selected who are provided coaching, sports scholarships and sports gear. As a part of association with Stairs, Uflex bears a portion of the sports scholarship, sponsors the training of these children and also takes care of the education expenses of a certain pre-decided number of children.
Uflex has sponsored five Cricket Championships since December 2010 and recently organized five day sporting festival in association with Stairs in Himachal Pradesh in April 2011.
